This is my vector logo design that I use for my website, videos, and projects. I used Canva and Affinity to create this logo, which is a stylized 'B' that represents my name and personal brand.
A hyperlapse video of me redesigning my logo from Canva to Affinity. Also, the first time that I used Affinity. The logo has been adjusted since then. See if you can spot the difference!
Mock of a Pricing Table to practice flexbox and design. Not a whole lot of time was spent on this. Just a quick draft to show off my CSS skills.
Practice exercise for my first web design using basic design principles like hierarchy, alignment, color theory, layout, audience, typography, and user experience.
This is a C# .NET MAUI Demo for a cross-platform mobile application. It lists and sorts through OKC Thunder Players. MVVM, SOLID, LINQ queries.
Android Mobile Application designed to play like the Doodle Jump game. I designed the Highscores + Main section as well as implementing the logic for gyroscope and accelerometer sensors.
Mobile Android dungeon crawler game. For this game, I designed the inventory system, the items, and the GUI for the character. This includes frontend and implentation.
This is a Contacts app created for Android. It can launch emails and deliver notifications to direct the user to UCO department websites as well as store important user information.
This Android Mobile Application allows the user to search for different cities to see the current weather for the area. There are also buttons to launch a map of the city!
This is an interesting game called Baseball, where the user is supposed to guess the numbers in the given 'Key'. Kind of like Wordle with numbers!
If you didn't know already, I'm Brendan and I'm from Oklahoma. Currently, I'm embracing the possibility of mixing art and science by "weaving art into the web" as a
Frontend Developer.
My strengths lie in my visual-spatial and problem solving abilities. They allow me to visualize different solutions to a problem and to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
I know what looks good, while taking the user's experience into account. From the logic to the aesthetics; from the front-end to the back-end; from the UI to the database; I have
experience in all areas of software development. Frontend is where I thrive and where I want to focus my career.
I chose computer science initially for my love of video games (Halo + Destiny) but wanted to stay in Oklahoma, where there aren't many game developer opportunities.
As a photographer, I developed my visual artistic abilities that translate into my web development work. You can view my work below or by navigating to my Instagram.
My other interests include watching the Oklahoma City Thunder, skateboarding, and working out. I also enjoy spending time outdoors in nature, exploring new places. Much of
my photography is centered around animals, plants, and landscapes. My initials are BB which explains my username @Bee4Brendan and fascination with the insect (Bee).
I am a dark mode addict and recovering perfectionist... light mode is not allowed here
